Our mission is to provide a family atmosphere which will allow members of our community to learn to their utmost potential, in a warm, supportive environment. We, the unified Heuvelton community, are dedicated to developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for our students to be successful, contributing members of our society.
Mrs. Fennessy's 3rd Grade Class
Instructor: Mrs. Fennessy   
I will be providing instruction in ELA and Social Studies this year. áOur reading lessons consist of materials from the modules.á The first module focuses on Native American culture. áThe second module's theme is colonial life.á Third, the students will read about simple machines. áFinally, we will read about women's suffrage. áWe will be reading from a variety of texts and articles to enrich the student's comprehension and vocabulary.

Class Announcements
Reading
Students will have reading homework. The homework will consist of reading for twenty days in a calendar month for fifteen minutes per day. Each day the students read, he/she will record the date, book title, and require a parent's signature. This will help improve the student's fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Math
The students will receive Math and Science instruction from Mrs. Mills. Homework will be given in the workbooks Monday-Thursday in addition to a fact sheet.
Handwriting
Students may choose to write in print or in cursive, whichever is more comfortable.
